Document Studio
Terms of Service
Effective and last updated: October 12, 2026
These Terms govern access to and use of Document Studio. By creating an account, connecting an email account, opening a signing link, or electronically signing a document, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Service and access
Document Studio provides document upload and storage, file conversion, reusable PDF-field templates, electronic-signature workflows, delivery tools, and related audit records. The service is offered as a limited free public beta. Signing recipients may access only the specific secure workflow intentionally sent to them.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your ChatGPT account, connected email account, devices, and signing links. You must provide accurate information and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
Free beta limits
Free accounts are limited to 100 MB of storage, 50 stored files, 10 templates, 10 uploaded records per day, 10 conversions per day, 10 signing requests per month, and 25 document-related email messages per day. Document Studio may apply additional rate limits, pause new registrations at 100 beta accounts, or suspend abusive activity to protect service reliability. Limits may change as the beta develops.
Acceptable use
You may use Document Studio only for lawful purposes and only with documents and personal information you are authorized to process. You may not use the service to impersonate another person, obtain signatures through deception or coercion, send spam, distribute malware, violate privacy or intellectual-property rights, bypass access controls, or interfere with service operation.
Electronic signatures
By adopting or applying an electronic signature or initials, a signer intends that mark to serve as their electronic signature for the displayed document. Senders are responsible for determining whether electronic signatures are appropriate for a particular transaction and for complying with applicable notice, consent, retention, and recordkeeping laws.
Document Studio records evidence such as email verification, signing time, IP address, activity events, and document hashes. These features support an audit trail but do not guarantee the identity, authority, capacity, or legal enforceability of every signer or transaction.
Documents and user content
You retain responsibility for documents and information you upload or submit. You grant Document Studio the limited permission necessary to store, process, convert, display, transmit, and generate completed copies of that content to provide the requested service.
Document Studio is a beta service and does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Keep independent copies of important records. Document Studio does not provide legal advice and does not review documents for accuracy, completeness, enforceability, or suitability.
Connected email accounts
Connecting Gmail or Microsoft authorizes Document Studio to send document-related messages through that account using the permission shown during authorization. Users may disconnect or change the account in Settings. Users are responsible for recipients, content, and compliance with applicable email and anti-spam rules.
Availability and changes
We may maintain, improve, suspend, or discontinue features and may restrict access to protect users, comply with law, or address security or misuse. We work to preserve stored records but do not promise uninterrupted availability. Users should retain independent copies of important documents.
Disclaimer and limitation
To the extent permitted by law, Document Studio is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or legal enforceability of a document. To the extent permitted by law, the service owner will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses resulting from user content, recipient information, unauthorized access, third-party services, or failure to retain independent copies.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any mandatory rights available under applicable law remain unaffected.
Changes and contact
We may update these Terms as Document Studio changes. Continued use after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Questions may be sent to sanfordhms@gmail.com.
